This is Kavana's first ever album,
and it is deffinetly the one that started the whole Kavana "Thing" off
for me. It was the first Kavana CD I ever bought, and it's still one of
my favourites. It was strangely released, as it wasn't released until almost
a year after the first single (Crazy Chance) originally came out. Even
then, it wasn't released until all 4 album singles had been on store shelves.
Nevertheless it went platinum in Taiwan and was a huge hit in South East
Asia, where it was re-released with bonus tracks. I guess this is pretty
much a pop album, with a few mainstream R&B tracks on it. An interesting
thing to know is that Kavana wrote 8 out of the 12 songs on the album (only
one - Where Are You - was a single), and alot of the music on this was
written as early as 1996. Overall it's a pretty great album, even though
there is an awful lot of songs about love on this CD! As one of my friends
said - "It kinda sounds like he was goin out with some chick who wouldn't
"give him any", while he was writing the songs on this album (she was reffering
to "Release It" and "The Time Is Right.")" But apart from that it's a great
album, and should deffinetly be in any record collectors collection.
