Wherever You Go?
Not everywhere but I do often get
to jump the queue at clubs and get me and my mates in for free. I enjoy
the perks but I do feel guilty sometimes - I mean, why can't everyone be
treated like that? Why should famous people get the best table in a restaurant
and not Joe Normal from down the road?
What's The Most Glam Place You've
Been To?
Well one of the best dos I went
to was when I presented an award at the Chinese Music Awards - it was fantastic!
I was flown over to China and given a Prada (v. swanky designer) suit.
A limo picked me up and I walked up a red carpet with trillions of fans
screaming at me! It was like being at the Oscars!
Do you Want to Be As Famous As
Michael Jackson?
Oh yes - without a doubt! It would
restrict me a bit though - I mean Jacko can't just walk about without getting
mobbed can he? I certainly wouldn't wear a face mask if I were as famous
as him!
In Which Country Are You Most
Famous?
I'm really popular in Taiwan and
when I went there it was frightening! I was treated like a king and I had
to have a security guard with me - even when I went to the toilet! I stayed
in an amazing hotel with electric curtains. I thought, it was a great week
- but if it was for a lifetime it might send me bonkers!
When you're a Pop Trillionaire
Will you Have a Huge Mansion?
Ooh I'd love a mansion in Malibu
in America! I went to this big-shot producer man's house there recently
- it had glass walls, huge wooden floors and it was right at the edge of
the ocean. How lovely would that be? I'd also like to have a house in Dublin,
Italy and Manchester. I've bought my mum and dad's house in Manchester
but I need my own - I can't really have my pop star parties at me Mam's
house!
Would You Have Servants?
Oh Yes, I'd treat them nicely, but
I wouldn't call them servants. I'd call 'em housekeepers and they'd get
a very god wage. I went to Gary Barlow's house for tea once and he had
a butler who called us 'Sir'! he was like, 'Would you like me to pour your
tea Sir? Can I get your slippers Sir?' Can You Imagine That?
Do You Go To Very Glamorous Holiday
Destinations?
Yes! I love the beach holidays and
I've been to the Caribbean, California, Australia - all over the place.
I'm very lucky to get to travel around the world with work too. I haven't
been to India yet though. I'd love to go but there isn't a huge Kav demand
in India for some reason!
Do You Ever Wish You Weren't Famous?
Not really. I mean, I still live
a normal life - it was great when I was living in Italy making my album.
It was in a little village and I went everywhere on my bike and nobody
bothered me - lovely!
Do you Go All Wibbly and Embarrased
When You Meet a Famous Person?
I don't usually, but I was in LA
recently and I met Elton John. I'm not a huge fan but he came over and
gave me a hug and I went all wibbly an tongue-tied. I wanted to say 'It's
an honour to meet you' and it came out as, 'It's a meet to honour you!'
