What makes you happy?
The best thing is going over to the fan club office and reading all the letters. Knowing that I'm making people feel good makes
me feel good.

You're out on a date with a really nice girl - what would you do?
I'd probably take her out for dinner at a burger bar. But we wouldn't have a beefburger, we'd go for a veggie or chicken one.
The real fun would start when I invited her back to my place though. I'd put on some realkly corny music - Marvin Gaye, Spice
Girls, Prince... and we'd have a good talk. A really nice natter.

When was the last time you had a barny?
Not long ago, actually. I was in a bar in the centre of Manchester and there was this guy staring at me. I don't think he knew
exactly who I was, but just knew my face and he was talking to his mate about me and giving me evils. I jost lost my rag -
which I don't often do 'cause I'm pretty easy-going - and jumped up and started going at him. I got dragged away from him and
he just left. But I felt quite good afterwards, it felt good to release all the anger of the fame game. I don't do that very often
though, I'm not a fighter.

Would you like a toy company to invent a Kav doll?
Yeah, but not a strange voodoo doll so people could stab me! A doll would be cool. What sort of gear? If it was for the
kiddies he'd have jeans and a t-shirt, if we made one for the older market we'd have a bit of leather and stuff. Sort of early
George Michael, with a bit of stubble. Mind you I can't grow stubble, for the life of me, although I'm trying my best!

Supermodels - too skinny or just right?
Yeah too skinny man, definitely. What do you want a piece of skin and bone for? I know it's what's inside that matters, but I'm
not into all these skinny women. I'd say the woman with the best body would be... erm, Caprice, no, her out of Emmerdale,
yeah Mandy Dingle - a cross between her and Cindy Crawford.

Where's the most romantic place in the cosmiverse?
Italy. It's one of the best places I'm doing really well. I got chased by hundreds of fans shouting, 'Kavana we love you!'
everywhere we went. It was just amazing. They are so sweet over there. When you sign an autograph they don't just want a
peck, they want to shove their tongue down your throat! I'd go, "You're a bit forward, aren't you?" But Italy's just beautiful, the
cities are just beautiful, the food's beautiful and the people are so passionate about life! I'd love to live there one day - or
Dublin. We had a brilliant New Year's Eve party there with Boyzone during our tour.

So which member of Boyzone do you get along best with?
It's hard to choose... I'd probably say Keith and Stephen. Keith's a big party animal like me and Steve's a little sweet sort of
(silly leprechaun volice) 'So, how are you diddlin'?' type. I like them all but they're the two I got on best with.

Would you like to be in a boy band?
Yeah, but only because it gets lonely being on your own. But not longevity or career-wise. The kind of success a boy band has
is different to a solo artist - if you make it big as a solo artist then the sky's the limit!
